Combat Application Tourniquet Black
The CAT Combat Application Tourniquet is a compact setting system for temporary hemostasis in the extremities. The individual size setting makes the attachment of the tourniquet on all extremities. In addition, the tourniquet has a one-handed-winch system which prevents the inflow of arterial blood using a freely movable, inner band on a limb. Once the bleeding has stopped, the rod is fixed by means of Velcro with just one hand. Thus, the safe transport of the patient is ensured. This small, inconspicuous and not even 70 grams light-weighed tool has saved thousands of lives in the recent years. Nowadays, this tool is part of the standard equipment for emergency services, police, army, fire brigade.
