Hiking and Maps Compass

Description

Functional map compass with liquid dampened needle, double scales and large magnifying glass. In addition there is a large transparent baseplate which provides a good overview and a neckcord. When you point the compass at an orienteering point for which you want to determine the position, turn the capsule until the positioning arrow is parallel with the needle and you will obtain the bearing.

Uses: travelling, hiking, sport, etc.
