The steel-hinged Identifier Cuffs may only differ from similar handcuffs in one small detail. Nevertheless, ASP has responded to a frequent request and added a simple colour-coding feature. The colour options of the Identifier handcuffs serve to better differentiate within the departments; above all, however, the visible distinguishing features are for security status and medical status. The colours won’t dim or fade and are an integral part of the handcuff frame.
The Identifier Cuffs, part of the Ultra Cuffs series, are part of ASP’s innovative development and are undoubtedly among the most secure restraints currently available on the market. Thanks to ultra-modern materials and a new design, the handcuffs made of forged 7075 T6 grade aluminium are not only lighter but also easier to handle. The flat profile and rounded edges reduce the risk of injury and due to the tight tolerance between the two shackles, precision and application speed are also significantly improved. The keyways are located on both sides of the handcuffs. The whole locking element can be easily replaced. A clearly visible double locking indicator further simplifies use.
The Ultra Cuffs are available in different versions and differ somewhat in the material combination and bridge.
