A versatile Halligan tool with a lever claw, used as a breaking tool for technical assistance and specifically for forced entry. The narrow and curved cutting edge makes it particularly easy to break open doors and windows. An additional striking surface on the lever claw allows breaking into a door even in very confined spaces, e.g. at the end of a corridor.
The two grip portions are clearly marked by the “‘grooves” and are particularly non-slip for a secure hold. The steel tool has a galvanised, passivated and coated surface on the head and is designed for a long service life.
The lever claw of the Halligan tool can also be used to pull out large screws and nails or break out lock cylinders.The claw gap of 20 mm at the top and 5 mm at the bottom is particularly suitable for this and both ends are ground and sharpened accordingly. The lever claw can also be used to cut sheet metal and laminated glass.
